After four lead changes in Sunday's game at Mayo Field, the Rochester Honkers (4-4) finally pulled out a 6-5 win over the Alexandria Blue Anchors (1-6).

The Rochester Honkers held off the Alexandria Blue Anchors, as the Alexandria Blue Anchors were unable to overcome a two-run seventh inning deficit.

The Alexandria Blue Anchors scored one run in the ninth on an RBI single by Albert Baur. Despite their efforts, the Alexandria Blue Anchors couldn't finish the comeback.

Tucker Tharp racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Hayden Edwards improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Rochester Honkers. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Zac Custer (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
