The Mankato MoonDogs (8-6) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Duluth Huskies (8-6) won in blowout fashion, 7-1 in seven innings at Wade Stadium.

The Duluth Huskies scored two runs in the sixth on a groundout by Michael Suiter and an RBI single by Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Duluth Huskies.

The Mankato MoonDogs had no answer for Jake Heissler, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Mankato MoonDogs managed just two hits off of the the Duluth Huskies' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Dan Mooney (0-1) took the loss for the Mankato MoonDogs. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
