An awesome effort by Alex McRae spurred the St. Cloud Rox (3-3) to a 5-1 win over the Waterloo Bucks on Saturday at St. Cloud, Minn. - Faber Field.

McRae struck out nine hitters en route to the the St. Cloud Rox win. McRae allowed one earned run, two hits and one walk over seven innings.

Carlos Leal helped the St. Cloud Rox take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Tim Colwell to get on base in the sixth. He then went from first to second on an error.

Adam Martin paced the St. Cloud Rox at the plate. Martin went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Marcos Calderon had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Eric Stout (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
