A wild pitch, scoring Pierce Belaustegui gave the Waterloo Bucks (4-2) the lead in the eighth inning, and the Waterloo Bucks hung on to beat the Willmar Stingers (3-3) 2-1 on Friday.

The Willmar Stingers' lineup had no answer for Tyler Foote. Foote held the Willmar Stingers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Bobby McCormack (0-1) took the loss for the Willmar Stingers. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
