A walk-off sacrifice fly from Brody Russell brought home the winning run for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (15-17) in a 3-2 victory over the Matsu Miners (19-12) at Mulcahy Field on Wednesday.
Russell had two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.
It was a good day at the plate for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Kevin Viers. Viers went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the ninth inning.
Carlos Fuentes allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

TJ Kendzora improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Tyler Martin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
