The Matsu Miners (16-11) beat the Chugiak Chinooks (5-21) 13-2 on Saturday thanks to a five-run eighth inning.

Ben Wylly racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Matsu Miners. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Ty Schlottmann racked up eight strikeouts in the the Matsu Miners win. Schlottmann allowed one earned run, three hits and four walks over six innings.

Asa Johnson (0-2) took the loss for the Chugiak Chinooks. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
