Nathan Bannister held the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (12-13) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Alaska Goldpanners (14-6) to a 3-1 victory.
Bannister struck out seven and allowed no walks and five hits.
Kewby Meyer was solid at the plate for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Meyer went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the second and ninth innings.
Sean Buckle ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
