The Matsu Miners (14-11) rolled over the Peninsula Oilers (11-10) 7-1 on Tuesday at Hermon Brothers Field after a six-run rally in the second inning.

Nick La Face racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Matsu Miners. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Cody Ponce picked up the win for the Matsu Miners. Ponce allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Dylan Silva (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.
