Michael Strentz went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Anchorage Bucs (10-4) to a 4-2 victory over the Matsu Miners (9-7) on Monday at Mulcahy Field.

Scott Grist brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. Grist held the Matsu Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Ty Schlottmann (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
