A walk-off single from Michael Strentz brought home the winning run for the Anchorage Bucs (8-4) in a 3-2 victory over the Matsu Miners (9-5) in 10 innings at Mulcahy Field on Sunday.

Collin Ferguson had a hot bat for the Anchorage Bucs. Ferguson went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

David Herd got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Herd struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Patrick Kenney ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
