Drew Turbin went 1-2, sparking the Chugiak Chinooks (3-12) to a 3-2 victory over the Anchorage Bucs (9-4) on Saturday at Mulcahy Field.

Caleb Dirks looked sharp on the mound. The Anchorage Bucs managed just three hits off of Dirks, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Garrett Mundell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
