Both the Matsu Miners (20-15) and the Chugiak Chinooks (8-27) put runners aboard on Tuesday, but it was the Matsu Miners that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-4 win at Hermon Brothers Field.

Drew Turbin got on base three times in the game for the Chugiak Chinooks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and second innings.

Drew Smith improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. Smith struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Devin Stanton was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
