Garrett Mundell held the Chugiak Chinooks (1-3) scoreless for six innings to boost the Anchorage Bucs (2-0) to a 7-0 victory.

Mundell allowed three hits, no walks and struck out five.

Five runs in the first three innings helped the Anchorage Bucs blow out the Chugiak Chinooks. A sacrifice fly by Michael Strentz, an RBI double by Chase Compton, and an RBI single by Ryan Leonards in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Lawton Langford, a sacrifice fly by Langford, an error, and a fielder's choice during the second inning fueled the Anchorage Bucs' offense early.

Compton went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Anchorage Bucs.

Caleb Dirks ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out five.
