The Sugar Land Skeeters (20-3) pounded the Camden Riversharks (7-16) on Saturday 10-4 at Campbells Field.

The Sugar Land Skeeters scored three runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Adam Godwin, an RBI single by Godwin, and an RBI single by Steve Moss.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Dustin Martin put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.

Jared Wells brought the heat against the Camden Riversharks during his outing. Wells held the Camden Riversharks hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Chris Andujar (0-1) took the loss for the Camden Riversharks. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
