Trevor Breton kept the Nashua Silver Knights (34-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (35-18) beat the Nashua Silver Knights, 3-1.

Breton struck out three and allowed three walks and three hits.

Brett Holmgren had a hot bat for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Holmgren went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

Matt Calamoneri recorded his second win of the year for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Calamoneri struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Geoff Fisher couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Nashua Silver Knights, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
