Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the North Shore Navigators (24-22) outscored the Seacoast Mavericks (21-27) 9-8.
The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.
Blaise Lezynski racked up three RBIs on two hits for the North Shore Navigators. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Mike Weisman got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over two innings. Weisman struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.
Brad Applin (2-3) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
