The Torrington Titans (17-23) built an early lead against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (15-26), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-4 win on Sunday at Doyle Field.

Casey Jones racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Torrington Titans. He homered in the first innings and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had no answer for Matt Quintana, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs managed just two hits off of Quintana, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Josh Raymond was solid at the plate for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Raymond went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Rob Bertucci (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
