A walk-off double from Matt Pagano brought home the winning run for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (17-21) in a 3-2 victory over the North Shore Navigators (18-18) at The Ball Park on Monday.
Pagano reached base two times in the game for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the ninth inning.
The North Shore Navigators couldn't get anything going so long as Nick Whittaker was on the hill. The North Shore Navigators managed just three hits off of Whittaker, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Tyler Pogmore got the win, running his season record to 2-2. Pogmore struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
Ryan Grant was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
