The Torrington Titans (15-23) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Nashua Silver Knights (25-13) on Sunday.

Johnny Adams was hot from the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights. Adams went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, sixth, and eighth innings.
Geoff Fisher looked sharp on the mound. Fisher held the Torrington Titans hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
Despite the loss, the Torrington Titans' Matt Quintana dominated the Nashua Silver Knights' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out 10.
Hunter Engelhart was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
