The Nashua Silver Knights (18-8) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 2-1 to the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (20-9) on Thursday.

Trevor Breton brought the heat against the Nashua Silver Knights during his outing. Breton gave up just one hit, allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out eight during his six innings of work.
Matt Calamoneri got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Calamoneri struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.
Geoff Fisher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
