The Marthas Vineyard Sharks make the most of 12 hits in 7-6 victory over the Torrington Titans

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-8) and the Torrington Titans (10-15) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Marthas Vineyard Sharks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at Vineyard Baseball Park.

Ryan Siegel had a hot bat for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Siegel went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Bob Seda had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Alex Mastrianni recorded his third win of the year for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Pat Austin couldn't get it done on the mound for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
