The Nashua Silver Knights (14-6) beat the Seacoast Mavericks (9-14) 8-6 on Saturday at Leary Field behind Ryan Sullivan, who had two extra base hits.
He homered in the first inning, doubled in the eighth inning, and singled in the third and ninth innings.Victor Sorrento got on base four times in the game for the Seacoast Mavericks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.
Tom Baroni got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed one run over three innings. Baroni struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.
Victor Mendez couldn't get it done on the mound for the Seacoast Mavericks, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
Sullivan, Sean Lyons, Bryan Toland and Johnny Adams helped lead the Nashua Silver Knights. They combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
