Casey Jones went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Torrington Titans (9-11) took home a 4-3 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (5-13) at Doyle Field on Wednesday.

Mike Gibbons handled the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Gibbons allowed three earned runs, five hits and no walks over six innings.

Tyler McVicar was hot from the plate for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. McVicar went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.

The Torrington Titans couldn't get anything going as long as Rob Bertucci was on the mound. Bertucci held the Torrington Titans hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Hunter Engelhart recorded his second win of the year for the Torrington Titans. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Dalton Keck was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
