The Torrington Titans (8-8) beat the Seacoast Mavericks (8-9) 5-2 in seven innings on Friday at Fuessenich Park behind Micheal Odenwaelder, who knocked in four runs.

A bright spot for the Seacoast Mavericks in the defeat was Patrick Ruotolo, who allowed only zero runs while striking out six.
