Matthew Sanchez was hot from the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights. Sanchez went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.
Despite the loss, the North Shore Navigators' Jake Brandenberger dominated the Nashua Silver Knights' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.
Jake Mellin got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
Brandenberger (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
