Dylan Begin went 2-4 and hit a home run as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (6-6) took home a 6-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (6-7) at The Ball Park on Monday.

Evan Brisentine looked sharp on the mound. Brisentine held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide couldn't get anything going so long as Adam Whitt was on the hill. The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide managed just one hit off of Whitt, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

Adam Sargent improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Sargent struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Chris Carmain couldn't get it done on the mound for the Pittsfield Suns, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed no runs.
