Both the Nashua Silver Knights (5-2) and the Pittsfield Suns (5-4) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Nashua Silver Knights that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-4 win at Holman Stadium.

Johnny Adams had two extra-base hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He tripled in the third and eighth innings.

Steve Dill got on base three times in the game for the Pittsfield Suns. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Geoff Fisher got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Fisher struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Thulani Denaro (0-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just zero innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Nashua Silver Knights were sparked by Matthew Sanchez and Adams, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
