Ryan Uhl had two extra base hits, helping the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (4-4) to a 7-6 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (5-5) on Thursday at Leary Field.

Bob Carbaugh's eight strikeouts helped the Marthas Vineyard Sharks to the victory. Carbaugh allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over five innings.

Mike Mastroberti racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Justin Thomas (0-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks were sparked by Uhl and Dylan Tice, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
