Jay Kenyon went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Vienna River Dogs (20-21) to a 3-1 victory over the Herndon Braves (10-33) on Sunday at Alan McCullock Field.

The Vienna River Dogs couldn't get anything going as long as Bryan Even was pitching. Even gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.
Felix Van Der Vaart ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
