The Alexandria Aces' Kennedy kept the Presstman Cardinals (13-27) off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out nine.

Johnathan Motts (1-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
