An impressive effort by Mitchell Leeds carried the D.C. Grays (23-18) to a 5-1 win over the Presstman Cardinals (13-25) on Thursday at Hoy Field.

Leeds picked up the win for the D.C. Grays. Leeds pitched nine innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out seven.

Eric Ramsey got on base three times in the game for the D.C. Grays. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

David Kimbrough had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Justin Drechsel couldn't get it done on the hill for the Presstman Cardinals, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
