Both the Alexandria Aces (18-11) and the Rockville Express (17-13) put runners aboard on Monday, but it was the Alexandria Aces that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-2 win at Frank Mann Field.

Blaine Bower reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and second innings.

Blake Ream got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over five innings. Ream struck out six, walked two and gave up six hits.

Daniel Gurganus (2-3) took the loss for the Rockville Express. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.
