Ty France went 2-3, sparking the Bethesda Big Train (22-7) to a 7-3 victory in seven innings over the Presstman Cardinals (12-20) on Sunday at Shirley Povich Field.

Luis Collazo kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Presstman Cardinals batters. Collazo allowed two earned runs, seven hits and two walks over seven innings.

Omar Cordero had a hot bat for the Presstman Cardinals. Cordero went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Michael Austin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
