Tyler Badamo held the Presstman Cardinals (12-17) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Southern Maryland Nationals (14-12) to a 1-0 victory.

Badamo allowed six hits, one walk and struck out nine.

Kyle Hurley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
