Matt Denny kept the Presstman Cardinals (11-16) off the board during his six innings of work and the Baltimore Redbirds (17-10) beat the Presstman Cardinals, 6-1.

Denny allowed five hits, three walks and struck out six.

The Baltimore Redbirds were led by a flawless day at the dish by R.J. Dennard, who went 2-2 against the Presstman Cardinals' pitching. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Michael Austin (2-3) took the loss for the Presstman Cardinals. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
