Brendan Butler put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Youses Orioles. He tripled in the fourth inning.
Michael Taylor allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Jay Graham racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Gaithersburg Giants. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Kirk Edson improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Youses Orioles. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.
Mark Williams was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
The Youses Orioles were sparked by Butler and KJ Hockaday, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
