The Herndon Braves (4-15) didn't stand a chance on Monday, as the Gaithersburg Giants (13-7) captured a blowout 7-1 win at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Gaithersburg Giants scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Collin Shaw and a two-run single by Josh Ingham.

Chris Kashangaki went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Gaithersburg Giants. He singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.

Brandon Estrain picked up the win for the Gaithersburg Giants. Estrain pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out three.

Tanner Love was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Gaithersburg Giants batters and allowing two runs.

Love was charged with his first loss of the year.
