Ryan McGuigan collected three hits, helping the Gaithersburg Giants (7-7) to a 3-2 victory over the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (4-11) on Thursday at Criswell Automotive Field.

Colin McGowan put together a nice outing. McGowan held the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Brandon Vega reached base two times. He singled in the third inning.

Danny ODonnell (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
