The Vienna River Dogs (6-5) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 14-3 landslide win over the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (4-8) at James Madison High School.

The Vienna River Dogs scored five runs in the second on a passed ball, , a two-run single by Bobby Rice, and a single by Quinn Pippin.

Pippin racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Vienna River Dogs.

The Vienna River Dogs got the win thanks in large part to Nathaniel Abel's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Abel allowed three earned runs on four hits and four walks over six innings.

Luis Paublini-Campos reached base three times in the game for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Chris Flores was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Vienna River Dogs easily handled the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 12 RBIs and eight runs scored.
