The Presstman Cardinals (5-8) and the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (4-7) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Presstman Cardinals capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Blair Stadium.

The fact that the Presstman Cardinals grouped all of their runs into the ninth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Jordon Glover was hot from the plate for the Presstman Cardinals. Glover went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth innings.

A bright spot for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts in the defeat was Joshua Kisamore, who allowed only zero runs while striking out five.

Justin Drechsel got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over eight innings. Drechsel struck out four, walked one and gave up 11 hits.

Travis Burnette ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
