The Baltimore Redbirds outlast the Herndon Braves in high-scoring affair, 13-8

The bats were busy at Calvert Hall HS on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Baltimore Redbirds (9-7) had a 13-8 win over the Herndon Braves (3-11).

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

LaMonte Wade Jr. racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the second and third innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Trey Stover did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Herndon Braves, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Robert Galligan recorded his first win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed three runs over four innings. Galligan struck out three, walked three and gave up four hits.

William Parker (0-1) took the loss for the Herndon Braves. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
