The Baltimore Redbirds (5-4) pounded the Southern Maryland Nationals (4-3) on Sunday 9-2 at Regency Furniture Stadium in seven innings.

The Baltimore Redbirds scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single by LaMonte Wade Jr., a single by Alex Pastorius, , and a single by Ian Rice.

Rice racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds.

Pete Macke racked up eight strikeouts in the the Baltimore Redbirds win. Macke allowed one earned run on two hits and five walks over four innings.

Tyler Badamo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
