Kyle Pitts went 1-1 as the Southern Maryland Nationals (23-21) took home a 1-0 victory over the Baltimore Redbirds (25-19) in seven innings at Regency Furniture Stadium on Sunday.

Zeke McGranahan looked sharp on the mound. The Baltimore Redbirds managed just one hit off of the the Southern Maryland Nationals' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Brandon Casas brought the heat against the Southern Maryland Nationals during his outing. The Southern Maryland Nationals managed just three hits off of Casas, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Ryan Meisinger recorded his third win of the year for the Southern Maryland Nationals. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Jack Geraghty couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Baltimore Redbirds, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
