Five runs in the first three innings helped the Gaithersburg Giants blow out the Herndon Braves. An error in the first inning and a three-run double by Chris Kashangaki during the second inning fueled the Gaithersburg Giants' offense early.
Kashangaki racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Gaithersburg Giants.
Jack Falvey couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Herndon Braves, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
