The Youses Orioles offense too much for the D.C. Grays in 10-2 rout

The Youses Orioles (3-2) jumped out to an early lead on the D.C. Grays (3-3) and captured a 10-2 victory on Saturday at Bachman Park.

With seven runs in the first three innings, the Youses Orioles left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Ryan Ripken during the first inning and an RBI double by Ryan Nelson in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Youses Orioles.

The Youses Orioles were led by a flawless day at the dish by Sergio Leon, who went 4-4 against the D.C. Grays' pitching. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Tanner Anderson had an impressive outing against the D.C. Grays' lineup. The D.C. Grays managed just two hits off of the the Youses Orioles' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Conor LeBlanc improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Youses Orioles. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Scotty Ward ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
