Brian Ruditys brought home the go-ahead run to give the Youses Orioles (2-2) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Youses Orioles hung on to beat the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (2-2) 9-7 on Friday.

The Youses Orioles were led by Ruditys' hitting. Ruditys went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth innings.

Sergio Leon had two extra-base hits for the Youses Orioles. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth and sixth innings.

The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts had no answer for Michael Taylor, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts managed just three hits off of Taylor, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Clayton Keranen racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He singled in the sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Bobby Ruse improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Youses Orioles. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Chris Flores couldn't get it done on the bump for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.

The Youses Orioles' Ryan Ripken, Ruditys, KJ Hockaday and Leon combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
