The D.C. Grays (10-14) and the Presstman Cardinals (9-15) each put runners in scoring position on Thursday, but the D.C. Grays capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at Hoy Field.

Cody Walker racked up four RBIs on three hits for the D.C. Grays. He singled in the third, sixth, and seventh innings.

The Presstman Cardinals' lineup had no answer for Chunner Nyberg. The Presstman Cardinals managed just one hit off of the the D.C. Grays' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Jake Enterlin was effective even in defeat, mowing down nine the D.C. Grays batters and allowing three runs.

Justin Drechsel (3-3) took the loss for the Presstman Cardinals. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
