After five lead changes in Monday's game at RiverHawks Stadium, the Rockford RiverHawks (37-53) finally pulled out a 5-4 win over the Schaumburg Boomers (51-39).

Michael Hur was hot from the plate for the Rockford RiverHawks. Hur went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Nelson Curry pitched lights out for the Rockford RiverHawks. Curry held the Schaumburg Boomers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Joe Parsons was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Rockford RiverHawks batters and allowing zero runs.

Cody Hallahan recorded his sixth win of the year for the Rockford RiverHawks. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Hallahan struck out five, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Cameron Roth ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his ninth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
