Kyle Teague threw a shutout to lift the Battle Creek Bombers (25-42) to a 1-0 win over the Eau Claire Express at C.O. Brown Stadium in seven innings.

The Battle Creek Bombers' Teague kept the Eau Claire Express (25-43) off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up six.

The Battle Creek Bombers' Colin Willis was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

A bright spot for the Eau Claire Express in the defeat was Kye Winter, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

Winter was charged with his third loss of the year.
