The Battle Creek Bombers' Colin Willis was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
A bright spot for the Eau Claire Express in the defeat was Kye Winter, who allowed only one run while striking out five.
Winter was charged with his third loss of the year.
