The London Majors (1-4) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the Kitchener Panthers (4-1) on Friday.

While the London Majors led until the ninth inning, the Kitchener Panthers worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Mike Andrulis.

Mat Taube put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Kitchener Panthers. He doubled in the second and ninth innings.

The London Majors were led by a flawless day at the dish by Alan Cattrysse, who went 3-3 against the Kitchener Panthers' pitching. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Ryan Schwenn recorded his first win of the year for the Kitchener Panthers. Schwenn struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

Eric Cordova ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
